Womanhood

    The Art of Womanhood tells the human creative skills of woman instinct. Every woman today needs to know how to survive during these pestilent times. Life must go on in the face of layoffs, illnesses, accidents, blackouts, and even impending terror attacks. But the question is how will you live? A woman must pass the test of creativity and flexibility when things are at its worst. This website shows you how to survive with the most meager means under the most difficult circumstances.

    From my own adventures in subsistence, I devised many formulas, recipes, patterns, projects and endurance methods that can brighten and reactivate a woman's feeling of usefulness; giving joy and the pleasure of accomplishment. The website also has many beautiful illustrations and a host of quick and easy instructions for enjoying life even in times of family distress. I hope to show domestic life as attractive, innovative, creative, exciting, and fulfilling; to elevate the self-esteem, improve the living conditions and even enhance the physical appearance of women, especially those who feel that they have no hope.

    My qualifications are a life of experience. I began as a young wife of a poor missionary pressed to live in a primitive type setting where mere survival was a struggle. I had faith that God would supply all our needs, as he had promised. I just had to find His provisions. So, I began to search and ask. I gained much of my knowledge from the local older woman and from the old library in the rural area where we were living. I recorded most all of my findings. This became a hobby, a legacy to leave to my daughters.

    I am now a wife and mother of 6, grandmother of 21, great grandmother of 5; Bible teacher of women and children, and speaker for ladies functions. I am not a busy homemaker like the Martha of Bible times, neither am I a groovy guru or davastating diva like the Martha of today. I am God-fearing, activating, Mema (as I am called), using the skills inborn in me by my Creator and putting them into practice. These learned skills are what I hope to share on this website.
